Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Moneytaw application (Android and web) and the moneytaw.com website. By creating an account, you agree to them.

The service

Moneytaw is a personal finance tracker: it records, imports, and analyses your financial activity and presents budgets, scores, and insights. Moneytaw is an information tool only — nothing in the app or on this site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on Moneytaw's numbers are your own.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the service to store unlawful content; attempt to access other users' data; reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service; or use loan links to harass or defraud any person. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Subscriptions & billing

Moneytaw offers a Free plan and a Premium subscription (billed monthly or annually via Paystack). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime in Settings, effective at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy. Kudi Points earned through referrals can be redeemed against subscription fees; points have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and expire if your account is deleted.

Your data

Your financial records remain yours. We process them only as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your data at any time in-app, and delete your account per the Account Deletion page.

Loan links

Loan links let you and a counterparty record a loan agreement and receive reminders. Moneytaw is not a party to, guarantor of, or collector for any loan recorded through the service.

Availability & changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may change, improve, or be withdrawn. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moneytaw's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made in reliance on the app's calculations.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
